Birth rate in DPR
increases by 1,5% for a year - Kuchkovoi

The birth
rate in the Donetsk People’s Republic has increased by 1,5 per cent for the
first six months of 2016 year in contrast to the same period of time in 2015
year.
It was
reported by the Minister of Health of the Donetsk People’s Republic Victor
Kuchkovoi at the meeting with the Head of the Republic Aleksandr Zakharchenko.
‘We are registering the positive dynamics of the birth rate. If last year in the first six months there were gave birth to 5 631 babies well, for this year there have been given birth to 5 695 babies. So it means that the birth rate has increased by 1, 5 per cent,’ pointed out Victor Kuchkovoi, the Minister of Health of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The Head
of the Health Ministry highlighted that in the Republic boys are given birth
more. However, he did not present the exact statistics.

The first triplet babies were born in the
Donetsk People’s Republic. Parents gave name to the children in honour of the
DPR-Dana, Nadezhda and Roman.
