Moscow proposes to recognize DPR and LPR and make military agreement for protection from Kiev

Russia should recognize the sovereignty of the LPR and the DPR, stated the writer Alexander Prokhanov on air of the RSN channel.

"Russia should recognize the sovereignty of Lugansk and Donetsk and conclude military agreements with the already recognized states. Then Ukrainians with their huge army won't dare to horn in," said Prokhanov.

Any other option is fraught with bloody cleansing of Donbass, considers the writer.

"In our elite circles there dominates the opinion that Donbass should be given away, but it is fraught with much blood. Donbass can't be adjoined to Ukraine in its present state. Ukraine itself has to change, but I don't see any prerequisites to it. Donbass is being demonized, they want to destroy, sterilize it, establish a filtration camp there. There will be arranged terrible cleansings," said Prokhanov.
