involving about 200 Russian servicemen
BELGRADE, November 13. /TASS/. The international military exercises 'Slavic Brotherhood 2016' ended near Belgrade and Russian and Belarusian servicemen involved in them are to leave for Russia within a day, the press service of the Russian defense ministry said on Sunday.
The international tactical drills involving about 200 Russian servicemen, as well as soldiers from Serbia and Belarus were held at firing ranges near Belgrade.
"An
official closing ceremony of the 'Slavic Brotherhood 2016' drills was held at
the base of Serbia’s special task brigade. During a day, Russian and Belarusian
servicemen will be taken to Russia by three Il-76MD planes," the press
service said.
According
to the press service, three Russian BMD-2 armored infantry carriers and
all-terrain vehicles, which had been used during the drills, were loaded
onboard Il-76MD planes to be taken back to Russia.
The
first 'Slavic Brotherhood' exercises were held last year at the Rayevsky firing
range near Russia’s city of Novorossisk.
