This is a video message from the frontline
soldiers of the Donetsk People's Republic directly to you. Defenders of the
free Donbass congratulates for the New Year 2017 and Christmas. Video is
provided by the DPR Ministry of Defense.
"We want to congratulate all citizens of the
Republic on New Year and Christmas. We wish you strong health, and most
importantly peaceful skies above the head," soldier says.
"I want to say that the borders of the DPR,
the Donetsk People’s Republic, are effectively protected. And we won’t leave
our positions," another soldier says.

New Year greetings from
Donetsk 'hot spot' - Yasinovataya positions (Video)
Greetings from the Donetsk People's Militia soldier
from Avdeyevka industrial zone for the year 2017. The front line position is
located in the outskirts of Yasinovataya city, what has been 'hot spot' in the
war in Donbass since beginning of March 2016, when Ukraine attacked over the
'gray zone'. Daily intense infantry fighting and constant Ukrainian shelling of
Donetsk People's Republic has taken place there since then.
A soldier from the DPR People's Militia with the callsign "Dawa" conveyed New Year greetings and wishes to his family and the residents of the Donetsk People's Republic.
