 Published on Mar 4, 2016
Around two thousand protesters took to the streets of the southern Serbian city of Nis on Friday to denounce the government’s deal in February with the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), which will allow its troops immunity and safe passage through Serbian territory.

SOT, General Bratislav Dikic, Former Head of Serbia Gendarmerie and leader of the Patriotic Movement (Serbian): “It is humiliating that we, the citizens, have to go once again through the torture of the NATO alliance troops. It is humiliating that now, in this situation, when NATO troops are deploying its army against the Russian Federation, we have to choose sides.”
