DPR Head A. Zakharchenko on Birthday

Today is the day when the person was born whose
name will forever be connected with the free Donbass and the Donetsk People's
Republic.
Today the father, the commander of the legendary
Oplot ("Stronghold") unit and the Head of the Donetsk People's
Republic, Alexander Vladimirovich Zakharchenko,
turned 41.
When his country turned out to be in hands of mad
junta, the father of four children, miner and businessman refused to run away
at the moment, difficult for the native land and took arms in his hands. Since
then very few people imagine him without a military uniform.
He isn't afraid to face death.
He is hated by aggressors, but even the most sworn
enemies recognize that he became a symbol of the Republic, the symbol of
struggle for the right to live under the people’s own laws.
On the shoulders of this person there is also laid
the burden of responsibility not only for the Russians of Donbass, but of the
whole Novorossia as well.
His sensitive and conscientious attitude to the
cause, multiplied by high efficiency, has created the reputation of a competent
Head of State, and rare personal qualities, responsiveness, warmth, and at the
same time effectiveness and integrity in solving problems and tasks, have
earned Alexander Zakharchenko the respect of all the residents of the Republic
and many people far beyond its borders.
Romain Rolland said: "If
a man is to shed the light of the sun upon other men, he must first of all have
it within himself!" Alexander Zakharchenko embodies this sun,
this light and faith, hundreds of thousands of people believed in this light
and followed him, sacrificing lives in the struggle for freedom of the native
land! Millions associate their hopes for a better future with the success of
the cause he started – the construction of the People's Republic!
He took the responsibility for the destiny of the
Donetsk People's Republic, for its future, freedom, and independence. Today, as
Head of the Donetsk People's Republic, he is solving a number of major tasks
related to the socio-economic development of the Republic. With maximum effort,
together, all as one, we will certainly achieve success in building a new
strong state.
