Coordinating council for patriotic education to be established in DPR

Donetsk, November 7. Coordinating Council for patriotic education is planned to be established in the Donetsk People's Republic - deputy chief of the military-patriotic education's department of the Ministry of Sports Victor Pudakov.

"We want to create a coordinating council to unite the efforts of all the organizations in the Republic dealing with military-patriotic education," - the representative of the Ministry of Sports said.

The first youth forum devoted to construction of the Republic opened in DPR

Several hundred students and activists of the Donetsk People's Republic participated in the first youth political forum under the name SSSR (Freedom, Conscience, Justice, Equality) which was devoted to plans for development of the Republic. The event takes place in the Donbass National Academy of Construction and Architecture in the town of Makeyevka.

The stated purpose is for the young people to gain experience of expert analysis, to master leadership skills and those skills which could be further used in legislative, political and social spheres.

The Chairman of the People’s Council Denis Pushilin, the Minister of Education of the DPR Larisa Polyakova, rectors of the leading higher educational institutions of the DPR, heads of social movements and organizations The Young Republic, The Donetsk Republic and others, deputies of the People’s Council, heads of Trade Unions, leaders of The Students' Union took part in the action.

“I am very glad to welcome you, very glad to see bright, kind faces. Actually, you are now in the very place and time when the history is made. This forum brought together the most initiative, purposeful people who had a desire not only to view the happenings, but also to be directly involved in construction of the future in real terms, in practice, already today.”

The young activists were offered to participate in four discussion platforms devoted to youth policy, work of trade unions, the volunteer movement and mass media. In each field there will also be organized lectures and master classes from experts and then everybody will be provided an opportunity to perform an individual task. Later the participants, having gained necessary experience, will be able to try their hand at such a working platform as the conveyor of ideas.

‘In your hands there is the future of our country. It will be you to administrate it but for you to do it right, and to achieve positive results, you should learn how to do it. Therefore, our business game is aimed at teaching you, the younger generation to rule the state,’ pointed out in her turn the Minister of Education Larisa Polyakova, having wished the participants good luck.

The forum is planned to last two days. Today on the program there are lectures and discussions on four aspects, the conveyor of ideas, film lectures. The Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko is expected to visit the event tomorrow.

On 25^th January the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Zakharchenko took part in the first youth socially-political forum Freedom, Conscience, Justice and Equality.

This forum was dedicated to plans of development of the Republic. Young activists, leaders of the student movements of the DPR attended this event. The meeting was held in the Donbass national academy of Building and Architecture in Makeevka.

Aleksandr Zakharchenko, the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, congratulated the students of the State’s universities on the Tatyana’s Day having highlighted the importance of the Patriotism of the younger generation to the victories of the State. The congratulations of the Head of the Republic were voiced at the youth-socio-political forum of the USSR in Makeevka.

I congratulate all of you on the Student’s Day and teachers as well.

It is you as the younger generation are to construct our country in coming years, our victory depends on your Patriotism, duty and skills.

In conclusion, Zakharchenko wished the students of the Republic happiness, success and the celebratory mood.

Today, on January 25, the Orthodox Church celebrates the Remembrance Day of St. Martyr Tatyana, which has been considered as the Student’s Day since The Russian Empire.
