"Motorola" - We Remember! - The 1st anniversary of DPR commander's murder
Published on Oct 16, 2017

Exactly a year ago legendary DPR People's Militia commander "Motorola" was murdered in the Ukrainian state terrorism attack at his home. The cruel murder of the national hero joined the Donetsk People's Republic to a shared and deep grief, but Ukraine still couldn't cut the backbone of the people's defense, cripple the famous 'Sparta Battalion", which continues today to fulfill it duties and tasks in ongoing defensive battles.

The video is dedicated to the memory of Commander Arseny Pavlov, call sign "Motorola", published by the DPR Information Ministry.

"He was a natural commander, natural organizer and a strong personality, he was very gifted leader, and that was his life", said one of Sparta's officers.

"He always was in the thick of things, in the epicenter; he was always involved in all the operations and always was directly in charge, analyzing the situation," said call sign “Vodyanoy”, another Sparta battalion’s officer. "In case of some changes he could apprehend that something can go wrong, and so he could always redirect his people, and he was always right, he had never been mistaken."

Today, I would like to pay tribute to DPR Hero Arseny Pavlov. Last year, he was meanly killed by the Ukrainian terrorists. Arseny Pavlov had only goal of his life to defend Donbass land from Nazism which prospers in Ukraine," said the Vice-Commander of the DPR People's Militia, Eduard Basurin, in the daily defense situation briefing.
