The DPR Ministry of State Security has prevented an assassination attempt on the DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko.
“On 28 April 2016, the staff of the DPR Ministry of State Security prevented an assassination attempt on the DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko. The security officers detained a group of Ukrainian nationals who had arrived here from Kiev-controlled territory. The group had a powerful explosive device disguised as an interior item. According to plans of the terrorists and their accomplices, the explosion would have occurred at the Artemida shooting complex in Donetsk during Alexander Zakharchenko’s visit there. The investigation is underway,” – the ministry said in a statement.
