The DPR registry offices issued about 23 thousand
birth certificates since the start of their work, the Ministry of Justice
reports.
“Since the beginning 23 thousand birth certificates have been issued. More than 600 babies have been already registered in 2017,” said the representative of the Justice Ministry“In 2016 overall 11,900 children were registered that is more than in 2015 – 9,269 births,” reports the Ministry Press Service.
It should be underlined that birth certificates
have been issued in the DPR since July, 2015.

30 November, in the department of civil registration of the Kirovsky district
of Donetsk city, there was held a ceremony of registration of the 10,000th baby
born in the Donetsk People's Republic. To congratulate the Demidovs family on
the registration of the newborn arrived the Deputy Chairman of the DPR People’s
Council, Olga Makeeva, the MP of the DPR People’s Council, Jury Sivokonenko, as
well as representatives of the DPR Ministry of Justice.
‘It's a great event because, despite all the difficulties and hardship, the parents make the decision to have the future! There is bound to be peace, and stability, and well-being!’ commented Olga Makeeva.‘On July 27, 2015, the Republic started to issue certificates of the state registration of civil status acts of the Donetsk People's Republic, with our symbols and in Russian,’ said the head of the department of civil registration of the State Registration Chamber of the DPR Ministry of Justice, Tatiana Allahverdiyeva.
