Thousands of students went out to the march
dedicated to the Day of the Youth. The holiday will be celebrated in the LPR
these weekends.
Students showed themselves as real patriots, they
are proud to live in the city where they were born and they held flags of
Novorossia.

Activists
of the Student Association “Young Republic” held a rally in memory of the Serbs
killed by NATO forces in 1999. The event took place near the monument to the
Unknown Soldier in the center of Lugansk. The participants of the rally carried
placards reading “Kosovo is Serbia”, “NATO is a butcher of the peoples”, “Serbs
and Russians are brothers forever”, etc.
“We’ve
gathered here to honour the memory of the Serbs died in 1999. In 78 days of
bombardment of Yugoslavia by NATO forces, more than 2,000 people were killed.
The Serbs are our brothers in the Balkans. We are one. We share their grief,” –
the Young Republic Chairman Yevgeniy Gubarev said.
All
those present lit candles and laid flowers at the monument.
“I’m
an ethnic Serb. For me, the events that occurred in Yugoslavia is 1999 are a
terrible injustice and a flagrant violation of all international laws,” –
Alexander Kolmach, one of the participants, said.
