people gathered in Lugansk for gala concert in honor of Republic Day

More than 27 thousand people came to the Theatre
Square of the city of Lugansk at the gala concert devoted to the Day of the
Republic last night.
'Only by our estimation more than 27 thousand
people gathered on the square'- reported the organizers.
The leading musical band of the Republic, actors of
the Lugansk academic philharmonic hall played for residents of the capital and
city visitors. Guests from Russia also stepped on the stage: bands '7B' and
'Dangerous' and ex-soloist of 'Lesopoval' band Sergey Kuprik as well.
'I am glad and always happy to come to you. Wish you the most important is good luck and peace'- noted the leader of '7B' band Ivan Demyan.
He told that he already acted in Lugansk, and the
city has changed to the best since then.
Thank God, life is turned around. Today I passed across Lugansk - everything had changed so much. The cleanness and order are everywhere. It is, of course, natural and at the same time surprising. People united all together clean and care their own city, everyone in his own yard. It means that the city is alive and wants to live.
Concert came to the end with festive fireworks
which were followed by performance of the state anthem of the Republic.

Today Igor Plotnitsky participated in the ceremony
of the monument opening to the Lugansk citizens who defended independence of
the native land from the Ukrainian aggression reported the official site of the
Head of the Lugansk People's Republic.
Opening the monument which is located in the park
opposite to the former building of the State Security Service of Ukraine Igor
Plotnitsky emphasized that in this monumental composition representing the
militiaman, the Cossack, the Afghan veteran and the woman with the child, many
Lugansk citizens can recognize their family, neighbors, and sometimes even
themselves.
Our republic was born in a hard time on fire of the new patriotic war. Hundreds of thousands of people realized that they are united people. And they are united not only with great Russia, but also with their ancestors, the great-grandfathers and grandfathers who already won against 'the Hitler's European Union' seventy years ago!
These words of Igor Plotnitsky caused a storm of
applause at the gathered citizens.
It should be noted that opening of the monument happened
at the big gathering of people. There were laid at its pedestal flowers from
Administration of the LPR Head, Council of Ministers and People's Council, and
also simple Lugansk citizens.
