“88 babies were born in Donetsk from 11 to 17 April. Among them are 31 boys and 57 girls. Two women gave birth to twin-girls. We congratulate the happy parents on the birth of their children. Sharp increase in birth
rate in LPR: 1667 children since beginning of the year

In the first quarter of 2016 the LPR departments of
civil status acts records recorded 1667 births, which is 351 more than in the
same period of 2015.
It was reported in the Ministry of Justice of the
Republic.
‘In Lugansk there were registered 510 babies, Luhansk is followed by Sverdlovsk with 177 babies. The least of births is registered in Pervomaisk, with 20 babies,’ explained the department.‘Also in the LPR, for the first quarter of 2016, there were concluded 395 marriages. The leading position in the number of marriages is traditionally held by the capital of the Republic, with 116 marriages,’ added the Ministry of Justice.
Earlier, the Ministry said that in 2015 the
citizens of the Republic most often maned baby girls Anna and Maria, and baby
boys were given names Vladimir and Maxim.

Medical
institutions of the republic won’t carry out a planned termination of pregnancy
on International Children’s Day, the deputy head physician on maternity and
childhood at the Lugansk Republican Clinical Hospital Oleg Valiyev said at a
briefing today.
“There was a meeting with the participation of experts in the field
of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, representatives of perinatal centres and
maternity clinics from various cities and districts
of the republic. The first issue we raised was International Children’s Day
celebrated on June 1. All of us agree that no planned termination of pregnancy
should be carried out on June 1-2. Abortions will be performed only if there
are medical reasons for it. Perhaps, our campaign will help us to save the lives
of our future generation,” – Oleg Valiyev said.
