Russia has become an aspiration symbol for freedom
and justice for millions of people worldwide, Donbass will never forget the
assistance provided by Russia, stated the Head of the Donetsk People's Republic
Alexander Zakharchenko while congratulating citizens of the Russian Federation
on the Day of Russia.
On my own behalf and in the name of all citizens of the Donetsk People's Republic I congratulate you on the Day of Russia. Russia has become an aspiration symbol for freedom and justice for millions of people worldwide.
Zakharchenko has emphasized that the DPR residents
along with the residents of many countries are proud of Russia which is for
them the dear Motherland. "Each of us is protecting and is ready to
protect up to the end the right to be part of the Russian world, the freedom to
speak Russian language, to consider Russians as the brothers"
The DPR Head has noted an important role which
Russians have played in fight of Donbass for freedom.
Thank you, brothers, for everything! For the humanitarian aid, hospitality, kind words and praying. The people of Donbass will never forget your kindness, your simple human participation, said Zakharchenko.

DPR Head: Kiev must be
liberated from radical nationalists
On
June 22, the 75th anniversary of the day Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union,
DPR Head Aleksandr Zakharchenko will hold a direct line with the residents of
Kiev, Donetsk People’s Republic Head’s public affairs service informs.
The residents of the Ukrainian capital
can submit their question to Zakharchenko on the website of Donetsk News Agency.
DPR
Head noted that questions from Kiev were submitted to him back during the first
direct line with residents of Kharkov. “I put these away for later, and now
there is so much of them, that I think it’s time to answer. The questions are
different. There are harsh ones, critical ones, though the vast majority
express support and offer to cooperate in the struggle against the illegitimate
authorities,” Zakharchenko said.
According
to him, Kiev did not submit to Ukrainization. “Moving from the South-East to Kiev I
didn’t feel much difference, since Kiev is originally a Russian city. To be
more precise, from the very beginning it’s a multinational city. They never
managed to Ukrainize it under the motto ‘Kiev for Ukrainians’, despite both
early Soviet and post-Soviet attempts. Which is why I always considered Kiev to
be my city, just like most people, not only in Ukraine, but before as well, in
the Soviet Union and the Russian Empire,” Zakharchenko said.
He
thinks that Kiev must be liberated from radical nationalists. “This is
the unavoidable logic of history. Ideologies that promote hatred towards humans
always suffer a defeat – it is a question of time. Bandera Nazism and so-called
‘Ukrainianship’ is an ideology, and precisely a human-hating ideology, which is
fundamentally based not only on nationalist radicalism, but also racism. Which
is why, I am sure, we will fight and defeat this plague together with residents
of Kiev, not against residents of Kiev,” Zakharchenko
claimed.
“I am waiting for
the questions of Kiev residents, I promise to be honest and direct,” Zakharchenko concluded.
Earlier
DPR Head held direct lines with residents of Kharkov, Donbass and Odessa. Every
person can submit only one question to Zakharchenko. It is not necessary to
indicate personal information, neither full names, nor phones, nor emails.
These are not being gathered and not stored.
On
June 22, 1941, at 04:00 in the night, Nazi Germany attacked the Soviet Union.
Kiev was among several major cities bombed by Nazis in the first minutes of the
war.

Direct line with Western Ukraine

The Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko is going
to hold a direct line with the population of Western Ukraine. He reported about
it today during the online-conference with the residents of Kiev.
‘The current wars are not only fights on the battle-grounds. It is the war of values, the war of senses, the war of histories, the war of technologies, the war of characters, after all. I promise to turn back to this topic. Maybe, in the near future, when there will take place my direct line with Western Ukraine,’ said Zakharchenko.
Earlier the Head of the DPR held direct lines with
the Kharkov, Odessa, Kherson, Zaporozhye Regions of Ukraine, and with Donbass
as well. Today the Donetsk Leader is answering the questions from the
inhabitants of the Ukrainian capital.
